When I first encountered Aphex Twin's music, I experienced a unique mix of eerie tension and cool detachment. It fascinated me, evoking the unsettling sensation of a parasite moving within. For this LP cover design, I aimed to capture that feeling—the microscopic, magnified view of something crawling inside—while balancing it with a vibrant and dynamic color palette. My goal was to convey the complexity and richness of Aphex Twin's sound, blending electronic, techno, ambient, and IDM elements in a way that offsets the inherent creepiness with a sense of cool, vibrant energy.
