In this project, my core idea was irony. I contemplated how to create a brand of
sanitary pads that is ironic yet comfortable for women to purchase without feeling
self conscious. Instead of labeling it as "Period," I opted for a name that suggests taking a breather, hence the birth of "Comma."
Target Audience
All women who menstruate.
The phrases written on the packaging depict the challenges women face nowadays due to menstruation. While menstruation is tough, it’s nothing to be ashamed of. We use "Comma" instead of "Period" to symbolize this.
